The Kiwanis Club of South Salt Lake Valley Utah Received Their Charter
The Kiwanis Club of South Salt Lake Valley Utah chartered Friday night February 22, 2008 at Madeline's Steak House in South Jordan, Utah. Members of the South Salt Lake Valley Club and others attending the event enjoyed a great meal and event. Club President Robert Baker received the Charter for International by UI Kiwanis District Governor Bill Mullins. Governor Bill and 1st Lady Barbara joined Charter members, Lt. Governor of UI District, Division 2 Mark Anderson, Past District Presidents Jim Terry, John Moray, and Lowel Inkley, and members from other clubs in the area joined the Charter Members in their charter event. Speakers at the event included Governor Bill Mullins, Lt. Governor Mark Anderson, Robert Baker, and Former BYU Baseball Coach - Gary Pullins. The club meets Friday's at 11:45 am at Madeline's Steakhouse, 1133 West 10600 South, South Jordan, Utah.
Officers for 2008 are President Robert Baker, President-Elect Darwin Millet, Vice-President Kyle Sutton, Secretary Julia Kidd, and Treasurer Karin Darais.

The Treasure Valley Kiwanis Club of Nampa Received Their Charter
The Treasure Valley Kiwanis Club of Nampa, Idaho chartered Saturday night, January 5, 2008 at the Hampton Inn in Nampa. The Treasure Valley Kiwanis Club of Nampa, Idaho had a great time as we were presented our Charter for International by UI Kiwanis District Governor Bill Mullins; Governor Bill and 1st Lady Barbara joined Charter members, Lt. Governor of UI District, Division 9 Peggy Sellman, representatives from Weiser, Idaho club, Nampa (Sponsor Club), and Caldwell, Idaho clubs, Division 6 Clubs Les Bois and Capital City of Boise, Idaho.The Kiwanis Club of the Treasure Valley of Nampa, Idaho chartered with 32 members with meetings on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month at Elmer’s Restaurant (I-84 and the North Franklin Exit) at 6:30 am.
Officers for 2008 are – President, Randy Benedict, Vice-President Elect Peggy Hubbell, Secretary Rita Anderson and Treasurer Robbi Blessin. www.treasurevalleykiwanis.org
